Three Yellowjackets Make GNAC All-Academic
Complete Team
BILLINGS, Mont. – Montana State Billings was well represented on the GNAC women’s cross country all-academic team. The Yellowjackets had the second highest amount of honorees only behind Northwest Nazarene with eight. To be eligible, a student athlete must have at least a 3.20 GPA and be in their second year of competition at their respective university.
Ciera Dornfeld (Sr./Woodbury, Minn.) made the team for the second time. She has a 3.60 GPA majoring in Art & English. Dornfield was among the top three Yellowjackets in three meets.
Erin Gannon (Sr./Yankton, S.D.) had a 3.47 GPA majoring in Elementary Education. She ran in six meets.
Sarah Jackson (So./Bozeman, Mont.) had a 3.87 GPA majoring in General Studies. She was among the top two Yellowjackets in all six meets that she ran. At the GNAC Championships, Jackson broke into the top 15 for a 6K with a time of 24:49.15.
Dianna Stanley (So./Miles City, Mont.) had a 3.37 GPA majoring in Biology/Chemistry. She finished among the top two in all six races she ran. Stanley was the number one runner four times.
Katie Thiel (So./Powell, Wyo.) had a 3.85 GPA majoring in Health and Human Performance. She was the only MSUB runner who scored in all seven meets.
Malori Woodford (So./Mosby, Mont.) had a 3.39 GPA majoring in Health and Human Performance. She ran in six meets.
