Alexi Halvorson is in her second year as a student assistant coach for the women's basketball team.
"Alexi does a great job for our athletics program," said coach Woodin. "She has a great work ethic and her contributions are very valuable. I have known her for years and look forward to working with her this season."
Halvorson is a member of the track team at MSUB. She led the team in scoring with a school record 135 points, was third in the discus at the GNAC Outdoor Track Championships and set school records in the indoor 20-LB weight and shot put and the outdoor discus and hammer. She is the daughter of Sharlo and Keith Halvorson. Halvorson is majoring in Biology and Pre-Physical Therapy.
