   Box Score Game One
   Box score Game Two

LACEY, Wash. – Saint Martin’s swept a four-game series with Montana State Billings Sunday afternoon, 13-3 and 11-7. With the losses, the Yellowjackets fall to 4-12 on the year and 0-4 in the Great Northwest Athletic Conference. SMU improves to 12-7 and 8-3 in conference play.

SMU continued from where it left of yesterday, scoring a lot of runs early - 11 runs in the first five innings of game one. The Yellowjackets came back with three runs in the top of the sixth with a two run home run by Matt Schoonover, followed by a RBI single by Levi Johnson for three runs in the inning.

Johnson finished the game with the hot bat for MSUB going 2 for 3 with a RBI to lead the team.
In the nightcap, the Yellowjackets came back scoring three runs in the opening frame on a RBI single by Joe Via and a two-RBI double by Andy Barham for the early 3-0 lead.

The Saints came back to tie the game in the third inning with a RBI single and a two-RBI triple and added three more runs in the fourth inning to take command of the game, 6-3. MSUB tallied a run in the fifth, but SMU added five more runs in the fifth and sixth innings to take an 11-4 lead.

Despite the deficit, the Yellowjackets continued to fight and looked to make another seventh-inning comeback, scoring three runs in their final at bat, falling 11-7.

Barham led the way in the nightcap going 3 for 4 with two RBI. SMU scored double-digits in all four games of the series.

The Yellowjackets will continue on the road at Central Washington next weekend and will open the home portion of the schedule in a three-game series with Colorado Christian beginning Mar. 25 at 12 p.m. at Pirtz Field.
