Jacket Softball Opens Fall Schedule (9/21/06)

BILLINGS, MT – The Montana State-Billings softball team will begin its non-championship fall season September 23 and 24 at the Triple Crown Sports Fall Classic in Fort Collins, Colorado.  The Lady Jackets have a full fall schedule with tournaments scheduled in Fort Collins, Colorado, Frenchtown, Montana, Great Falls, Montana, and here in Billings when the Lady Jackets host Great Falls at Cenex Stadium October 7.

At the Triple Crown Classic the Jackets, who finished the 2006 season 20-31, will play three games Saturday and two games Sunday.  Saturday’s opponents are Northern Colorado, Western Nebraska Community College, and Fort Lewis.  The first game is scheduled for 9:30 a.m.  Sunday’s early game will be against Colorado State-Pueblo followed by an 11:30 a.m. game against Fort Lewis.
