Lady Yellowjackets to Hold AAU Alumni Game Saturday (November 8, 2002)

BILLINGS, MT – The MSU Billings women’s basketball team will take the floor for the second time this season on Saturday when the hold their annual alumni game at Alterowitz Gymnasium.  The game will tip off approximately 30 minutes after the conclusion of the women’s volleyball match, which begins at 6:00 p.m.

The Lady Jackets held their first Blue-Gold scrimmage of the year last weekend.  The big story of the scrimmage was the loss of senior point guard Amy Bantz due to a torn ligament in her knee.  Because of the nature of the injury, Bantz may be able to play with a brace for the regular season.

Suiting up for the AAU Alumni Select will be nine former Yellowjackets.  Kami Malnaa (2002 graduate), Deena Bartu (2000), Alicia Cahill (1999), Amy (Winslow) Pfiefle (1999), Tami (Fleek) Concepcion (1999), Jenni Winter (1999), Colleen (Day) Weichman (1991), Amber (Zylawy) Erickson (2002), and Sherry (McQuinn) McCarthy (1993).

General admission prices for the alumni game will be $4.00 for adults.
