MSU Billings to Hold First Public Scrimmage on
Thursday (November 13, 2002)
BILLINGS, MT – The MSU Billings
men’s basketball team, ranked No. 22 in the NCAA
Division II preseason poll, will hold its first
public scrimmage of the year Thursday night at
Alterowitz Gymnasium. Tip-off is scheduled for 7:00
p.m. Admission will be free.
The Yellowjackets are the
defending Pacific West Conference Champions and open
the regular season on November 23 when they host the
defending NCAA West Region Champion, Cal State-San
Bernardino. That game is scheduled to tip-off at
8:00 p.m., following a women’s game.
MSU Billings will also hold a
public exhibition game on November 16 when they face
the AAU Big Sky All-Stars, a collection of former
college players. That game is set for 7:00 p.m.
