	Freshman Lexi Halvorson placed second in the discus with a GNAC season-best toss of 140-3 Saturday at the South Dakota School of Mines Bauer Invitational. Halvorson’s mark was just 10 inches short of the provisional national qualifying standard in the discus. For her efforts, Halvorson was named GNAC Player of the Week.
