Yellowjackets Seventh After Day One
   Round One Results

LAKEWOOD, Colo. – Following day one of the Regis University Invite, the Montana State Billings women’s golf team sits in seventh place in the ten-team field after shooting a combined 350.  The Jackets wrap up play Tuesday at the par-72 Fox Hollow Golf Course in Lakewood, Colo.

Fort Hays’s Shelby White leads the pack shooting a three-over 75.  In a tie for second with a round one score of 76 is Cecilia Silfverskio of the host team Regis and Western New Mexico’s Erika Willis.  The Jackets’ Amy Nordeen (Hamilton) leads MSUB with a first-round 83 tying her for 14th.  Newcomer Lindsay Erickson (Helena) is 18^th shooting an 84.

Western New Mexico has a 13-stroke lead in the team competition over Fort Hays State with a combined 316.  Chadron State holds a one-stroke lead over fourth place Nebraska-Kearney with a round-one 338.  The Yellowjackets are seventh with a 350 and are just six-strokes out of sixth place.

Following the Regis Invite, the Lady Jackets will battle cross-town rival Rocky Mountain College on September 24 and 25.
