Jackets Make Strong Showing at Al Manuel Invitational
MISSOULA, Mont. – The Montana State Billings
men’s and women’s outdoor track and field teams made a strong
showing at the Al Manuel Invitational hosted by the University
of Montana Saturday.
The Yellowjackets had two automatic qualifiers for the
conference meet in the women’s 800m and the men’s pole vault.
Freshman Sarah Jackson qualified for the
Great Northwest Athletic Conference meet with a 2:19.80 time in
the 800 meters and a third place finish.
On the men’s side, freshman Nathan Satran also qualified
for the GNAC meet with a 13-1.5.
Also, senior Richie Pemberton finished fourth in the
steeplechase with a time of 9:40.30.
The Yellowjackets return to action next
weekend at Montana State Invitational Saturday, April 12.
