MSUB Softball to Hold Meeting, Tryouts
BILLINGS, Mont. – The Montana State
Billings softball team will hold a mandatory meeting and open
tryouts next week. First-year head coach Tony Stone will
welcome approximately 14 returning players and three new
recruits back to campus. He is also offering an opportunity for
walk-ons to join the team.
Classes at MSU Billings start on Wednesday,
Sept. 5., and the mandatory softball team meeting will be held
at 4:30 that day in PE 54. The open tryouts for walk-ons will
be Thursday, Sept. 6, at 3:00 at Cenex Stadium. Anyone
participating in the tryout must have proof of a current
physical examination.
