Yellowjacket Softball Player Shay Oberg Featured in USA Today

BILLINGS, Mont. – Junior Montana State Billings softball player Shay Oberg was featured in the April 22, 2008, edition of the USA Today.  The article, written by George Geise of the Great Falls Tribune, highlights her overcoming the obstacles of playing softball without a left hand.

Oberg, a native of Billings, is hitting .259 with three home runs and 12 RBI for the Yellowjackets who stand one game out of first place in the Great Northwest Athletic Conference with a 22-19 record overall and a 11-7 record in conference play.  The Jackets close out the season with nine home games beginning Thursday against Seattle in a doubleheader at Cenex Stadium at 3 p.m.
