Jackets Slip One Spot to Fifth

BILLINGS, Mont. – After ranking fourth in last week’s NCAA Regional Poll, the Montana State Billings men’s soccer team fell one spot to fifth following Tuesday’s rankings.  This comes less than a week after the Yellowjackets knocked off Seattle Pacific University, 2-0, to close out the conference season at home.

The Jackets finished the season 13-4-1 overall and 10-2-1 against regional opponents.  MSUB was overtaken in this week’s poll by Grand Canyon University.  The ‘Lopes are currently 10-4-4 against Far West Region teams with games against BYU-Hawaii (9-8-0) and Hawaii Pacific (6-9-0) remaining on their schedule.

Following the NCAA Men’s Soccer Committee selection show on Nov. 5, the top four teams in the Far West Region will be invited to the NCAA Tournament held Nov. 8-12 at the number one seed.
