Jeff Ernst,
ATC, NASM-PES/CES

Assistant Athletic Trainer

Jeff Ernst is in his third year as the Yellowjackets' assistant athletic trainer. Born in San Jose, California, Ernst graduated in 2004 from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas with a Bachelor of Science degree in Athletic Training.  While attending the UNLV, Ernst assisted with athletic training coverage of all the Rebel teams.
 
Ernst was NATABOC certified in 2004 and has assisted with season long athletic training coverage of the Las Vegas 51s, AAA affiliate of the Los Angeles Dodgers.  He has also assisted with event coverage of Billings Central Catholic High School sports, Chase Hawks rodeo, and Beartooth Hospital in Red Lodge.  Ernst is also certified by the National Academy of Sports Medicine as a Performance Enhancement Specialist and a Corrective Exercise Specialist.  In addition, he is also an instructor for the American Red Cross in First Aid, CPR, AED and Professional Rescuer.

Ernst earned his Masters of Science in Sport Management from MSU Billings and lives in Billings with his wife Angela and their two dogs.
