Jacket Golfers Travel to HLC Tournament (4/15/07)
BILLINGS, MT – The
Montana State-Billings men’s and women’s golf teams are
set to compete at the Heartland Conference Tournament
April 16 and 17 in Irving, Texas. The tournament will
be played at the Hackberry Creek Country Club where the
men will play 54-holes, while the women will shoot 36
holes. Dallas Baptist is the host of this year’s
tournament.
Sunday will be a
practice round for all teams in attendance with a
shotgun start scheduled on Monday, April 16 with a first
tee time of 8:00 a.m. CST. Teams competing in the
tournament include: Dallas Baptist, Montana
State-Billings, Incarnate Word, St. Mary’s (TX), St.
Edward’s, Oklahoma Panhandle State, Lincoln University,
Texas A&M – International, and Newman University.
Representing the
Yellowjacket men’s golf team will be Zach Abels, Tyler
Nicholas, Michael Konrad, Jason Kinsey, and Mike
Watson. The Lady Jackets will bring Halley Montalban,
Emily Maag, Amy Nordeen, Jessica Boyer, and Karrie Brack
to the tournament. |
