Weather Stops Lady Jackets

BILLINGS, MT – The winter weather
sweeping the northern plains the last two weeks has
dampened college softball seasons across the region. On
Friday, Montana State-Billings cancelled its Heartland
Conference doubleheader with St. Mary’s University for
the second-straight day. Yellowjacket head coach Kim
Lemmens also announced that next Tuesday’s doubleheader
at University of Mary has been cancelled.
With the weekend series against St.
Mary’s and Tuesday’s games at Mary cancelled, the
Yellowjackets (18-20) have now had nine of the last 10
games cancelled. No make up dates are expected.
MSU Billings will host University of the Incarnate Word
on April 13 and 14. Saturday will be Senior Day for
Megan Moeller (Ontario, OR), Jenna McCartney (Hamilton,
MT), Lorel Palmer (Ogden, UT), and Aysha Maddox
(Richland, WA).
