Jacket Softball Games Cancelled

BILLINGS, MT – Saturday’s
non-conference softball doubleheader between Montana
State-Billings and Texas-Permian Basin has been
cancelled. The teams will try to play Sunday morning
starting at noon at Cenex Stadium.
It was a “swing-and-a-miss” week
for weather forecasters in the Billings area. The huge
storm predicted for Wednesday never materialized,
although areas to the southeast were hammered by heavy
snow. Then calls for only an inch of snow on Friday
turned into a foot of snow in some parts of Billings by
Saturday morning. The Cenex Stadium outfield had an
accumulation of about six inches.
Following Sunday’s doubleheader,
the Yellowjackets will host Heartland Conference foe St.
Mary’s University on Thursday and Friday. Thursday’s
doubleheader starts at 2:00 p.m., and Friday’s begins at
11:00 a.m.
