MSU Billings Soccer Field Renovation Continues (5/4/06)
BILLINGS, MT – For the past
two weeks the Montana State University-Billings soccer field has
been undergoing a major renovation to flatten the crowned
surface and install new underground sprinklers. That renovation
is scheduled to conclude this weekend with approximately 100,000
square feet of Tvetene sod being installed.
The Yellowjacket soccer field
is located at the MSU Billings College of Technology on the
corner of Shiloh and Central Avenue. The sod laying is
scheduled to begin at 9:00 a.m. on Friday and Saturday and
continue until completed.
Several volunteers from the
campus community are expected to be on hand to help put down the
sod. The MSU Billings Athletics Department and soccer teams
also welcome the help of any volunteers from the community. |
