State University-Billings men’s soccer team dropped the first game of a three-game trip to Arizona Friday,
losing to Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University, 1-0. The
loss dropped the Yellowjackets to 4-12-0 with two games
remaining.
ERAU scored
the eventual game winning goal in the 28th minute when Griffin
Hunt found the net. The Yellowjackets out-shot the Eagles
11-9 in the game. Freshman Nick Slanina (Rapid City, SD)
had four of the Jackets' shots. Yellowjacket goalkeeper
Jess Feldtman (Sr., Lander, WY) made four saves.
MSU Billings plays Saturday night at 7:30 in Phoenix in a
neutral site game against Humboldt State University. The
Yellowjackets wrap up the season Monday at Grand Canyon in
Phoenix. |
