James Hopkins
Freshman, OF
Helena, MT

James Hopkins is a 2005 graduate of Capital High School.  He was a four-year member of the honor roll and participated in multiple school activities.  Hopkins played baseball for the Helena Senators Legion team before enrolling at Montana State-Billings.  He is the son of Pat and Sharon of Helena.

Hopkins is a math major and computer science minor.

"James is a two-way player that has a lot of potential physically," said head coach Chris Brown.  "He is a good student that has excelled in the classroom and on the ball field.  He has a good work ethic and a passion for the game, which bodes well for his development as a player.  We are excited to have James join the Yellowjacket Baseball program."
