Chris Martin is a 2002 graduate of Billings West
High School. Martin has played Legion baseball for the
Billings Scarlet's for two years. He also played for the
Cardinals, UNLV and Miles City Community College for two and a half
years before transferring to MSUB. He is the son of Chuck and
Edna Martin of Billings.
Martin is a business finance major.
"Chris gives us another high quality starting pitcher that has
proven he can win consistently at the collegiate level, " said head
coach Chris Brown. "We are very pleased to have Chris choose
MSU Billings and look forward to big things from him. He has
the ability to shut teams down and is a smart pitcher that knows how
to change speeds, locations, and keep hitters off balance. His
repertoire includes a good fastball with movement, an above average
change-up, and an excellent curveball. he is a maute young man
