Lady Jacket Golfers Compete in Maverick Invitational (Apr. 8, 2005)
BILLINGS, MT – The Montana State
University-Billings women’s golf team is set to compete
in the Maverick Invitational April 10-12 in Grand
Junction, Colorado. The tournament will be hosted by
Mesa State College.
The Jackets will shoot the first
18-holes on Monday, April 11 and the final 18-holes on
Tuesday, April 12. The first tee time is set for 7 a.m.
at the Tiara Rado Golf Course. The Maverick
Invitational will feature eight teams. Joining the
Yellowjackets and host team Maverick’s include, Dodge
City Community College, University of Colorado-Colorado
Springs, Grand Canyon, Chadron State, Nebraska-Kearney,
and Oklahoma Panhandle.
This is the final tournament for
the Lady Jackets before heading to Hilo, Hawaii to
compete in the PacWest Conference championships April
21-23. |
