Lady Jackets meet Rocky for Second Time (Oct. 19, 2004)
BILLINGS, MT - The Montana State
University-Billings Volleyball team will host the Lady Bears of
Rocky Mountain College Wednesday night at 7:00 p.m. at Alterowitz
Gym. Rocky is currently 5-6 on their season coming off a 3-1 loss
to University of Great Falls. The Lady Jackets are 10-8 on the
season.
The Yellowjackets last meeting with the Lady
Bears ended in a 3-0 win. At this match Olivia Munro broke the
school record of 1,043 kills made by any player.
Senior Andrea Donahue (Sr., MB, Whitefish,
MT) is ranked in the PacWest Conference stats with a team-leading
hitting percentage of .415. Teammate Olivia Munro leads the
Yellowjackets with 275 kills and 286 digs for the season. Jessica
Bratton (So., OH, Casper, WY) posts 263 kills and a .252 hitting
percentage. Freshman Alicia Cazemier (Fr., MB, Vauxhall, Canada)
leads the team with 79 blocks and has a blocks per game average of
1.27.
The Yellowjackets first host the Battin’
Bears at Alterowitz Gym Wednesday 20th at 7:00 p.m.
The Jackets then host the Chaminade Silverswords (12-3) the 25th and 26th at 7:00 p.m. at Alterowitz Gym for PacWest
