Wohlers will be a senior next season after playing two seasons at Lewis and Clark Junior College and one season at McKendree College in Lebanon, Illinois.  The German native graduated from Benton High School in Benton, Illinois after coming to the United States as an exchange student.  He graduated from Benton in 2002.

At Lewis and Clark, Wohlers averaged 19 points and 9 rebounds a game to earn all-conference and all-region honors.  He helped his team to the national tournament where he was named to the all-tournament team.  At McKendree Wohlers averaged seven points and four rebounds a game.

In his one year at Benton HS, Wohlers averaged 19 points a game and earned all-conference and all-region honors.  He averaged 20 points and ten rebounds a game for his high school club teams in Germany and played on the National U16, U18 and U20 teams.
