BILLINGS, MT – After winning two of three games last week, including a two game split with 17th-ranked BYU-Hawaii, the Montana State-Billings men’s basketball team remained at No. 9 for the second straight week in the NCAA West Region poll.

The top eight teams in the poll at the end of the season qualify for the NCAA Tournament.  There are two regular season polls remaining before the final poll that seeds the regional tournament.

The Yellowjackets dropped the first game of a three game road trip in Hawaii Tuesday night, falling to Chaminade 107-75.  They play at Chaminade again on Thursday before wrapping up the trip on Saturday at Hawaii-Hilo.  PacWest frontrunner BYU-Hawaii is No. 2 in the regional poll for the fifth straight week.  The poll is based on games through February 15.  The next poll will be released on February 25.
