Lady Yellowjackets Drop Two Volleyball Matches
The Montana State
University-Billings volleyball team lost their first
two matches of the 2002 season at the Minnesota
State University-Mankato Labor Day Tournament. They
fell to Concordia University-St. Paul, 3-0, in the
opening game of the tournament. In the nightcap,
the Yellowjackets were defeated by South Dakota
State University, 3-0. SDSU is the No. 2 ranked
team in the country and was the runner-up in last
year’s NCAA championship match.
No statistics were immediately
available from the tournament. MSU Billings will
face Bemidji State University and St. Cloud State
University on Saturday.
