Yellowjackets Host Bobcats in Women’s Tennis Friday, Saturday (October 18, 2002)

BILLINGS, MT – MSU Billings will host MSU-Bozeman in women’s tennis action on Friday and Saturday at the MSU Billings Indoor Tennis Center.  Matches will begin at 3:00 p.m. on Friday and 9:00 a.m. on Saturday.

“The Bobcats are always tough,” said Yellowjacket Head Coach Jerry Peach.  “The girls from Bozeman compete at a very high level and have a great tradition.  We look forward to playing them as our level of play goes up.  We are always better the week following the experience.  Our team is small but very determined.  I have like what I have seen in practice and we will give a good account of ourselves.”

Admission to the matches is free.  Competing for the Yellowjackets this weekend will be Rachel Hertz (senior-Billings, MT), Amanda Schlosser (junior-Billings, MT), Jenni Howe (junior-Glendive, MT), Becky Fry (sophomore-Miles City, MT), and Lee Sowanda (freshman-Gillette, WY).
