years in track...earned all-conference honors as a
midfielder in 2000 and 2001...named to the
all-conference tournament team in 2000 and
2001...was a first round all-state gold selection in
2001...set a regional meet record in the 800 meters
as a senior...in senior season, posted 9 goals and
30 assists in the fall, 16 goals and 13 assists in
the spring...team was the conference tournament
champions in fall season and state champions in the
spring season...played for two years on S.D. Olympic
Development team...parents are Bonnie Ballentine and
Joeseph Hartpence of Custer...majoring in education
