Ben Barckholtz is the Director of the Academic Support Center for MSU-Billings.  He received his BA in English with a focus on creative writing from Northern Michigan University.  In 2005, he received his MA in Composition and Communication from Central Michigan University.  He has taught English related courses for Delta College, San Antonio College, and Iowa Western Community College.  In addition, he established and fostered the Academic Support Center for Iowa Western Community College which serviced a student population of 5,500 students.  He enjoys spending time with his wife and young son as well as visiting his relatives located in Saginaw, MI.  If he is not in his office, you may want to search the local golf course or trout stream.


The Academic Support Center will engage and empower individuals to become
confident, capable, independent learners while providing academic
instruction and support in a safe and encouraging environment.
