Scholarships
Supporting the students of MSU Billings is a major priority of the MSU Billings Alumni Association. One way this is carried out is through MSU Billings Alumni Association Scholarships.
Alumni Scholarship for Students Attending the MSUB Four-Year Campus
The MSU Billings Alumni Association annually awards a four-year scholarship to an incoming freshman for $1,000 per year, for a total award of $4,000 per student. Student Recipients must have an alumnus relative and meet the criteria established.
Criteria
- Full-time enrolled student, financial need
- Major in BA/BS degree program at Montana State University-Billings
- Three letters of recommendation
- GPA of 3.5 or above; rank in top 10% of high school graduating class OR have ACT score of 26 or better/SAT score of 1100 or better
Alumni Scholarship for Students Attending City College at MSU Billings
This new scholarship is renewable for 2 years, for a total of $2,000. Student Recipients must have an alumnus relative and meet the criteria established.
Criteria
First time enrolled freshman at City College must have one of the following: 3.0 cumulative GPA OR have an ACT score of 22 or better/SAT score of 1030 or better. Continuing freshman must have a 3.25 GPA or above and must have earned 15 semester credits or less to apply.
