Supporting the students of MSU Billings is a major priority of the MSU Billings Alumni Association.  One way this is carried out is through MSU Billings Alumni Association Scholarships. 

Alumni Scholarship for Students Attending the MSUB Main Campus

The MSU Billings Alumni Association annually awards a four-year scholarship to an incoming freshman for $1,000 per year, for a total award of $4,000 per student.  Student Recipients must have an alumnus relative and meet the criteria established.

Criteria:

• Full-time enrolled student, financial need
• Major in BA/BS degree program at Montana State University-Billings
• Three letters of recommendation
• GPA of 3.5 or above; rank in top 10% of high school graduating class OR have ACT score of 26 or better/SAT score of 1100 or better

Alumni Scholarship for Students Attending MSUB's College of Technology

This new scholarship is renewable for 2 years, for a total of $2,000. Student Recipients must have an alumnus relative and meet the criteria established.

Criteria

First time enrolled freshman at the COT must have one of the following: 3.0 cumulative GPA OR have an ACT score of 22 or better/SAT score of 1030 or better.  Continuing freshman must have a  3.25 GPA or above and must have earned 15 semester credits or less to apply.
