I.Student Success and Achievement
Goals:

Establish
learning objectives and implement outcome-based student
assessment.

Provide
excellent academic support, services, and facilities for
students and faculty.

Create/utilize appropriate state-of-the-art curriculum and
delivery methods.

Provide
opportunities for students to learn, live and work in diverse
environments and experience diverse ideas.

Strengthen the link between career pathways and education.

Develop/enhance relationships among colleges to facilitate
student progress.
II. Access
Goals:

Increase internal/external
funding and partnerships to support programs, research and
scholarships.

Respond
to market driven demands and student needs with academic
programs, flexible scheduling and delivery models.
III. Civic Leadership
Goals:
-
Strengthen and expand partnerships with organizations that
support and enhance student learning, leadership and community
involvement.

Link
students to opportunities for services and activities on campus
and in the larger community.

Identify
new opportunities to foster support and encourage economic and
community development in the region.
Promote the Intellectual Community
Goals:

Promote
excellence in collaboration.

Promote
institutional culture that fosters professional development and
mutual respect.

Meet and
maintain accreditation standards, best practices, and external
guidelines as appropriate.

Promote
processes to support relationships between faculty, students,
and staff in recruitment, retention, advising, and mentoring.

Enhance
excellence in faculty teaching, scholarship/research and
service.
