On Monday, we will be attending lab from 2:30pm until 5:30pm so that students may give their senior presentations. Attendance is mandatory. After each 20-30 minute presentation, there will be 10 minutes for question and answers. Students should come up with at least one question after each presentation to ask the presenter. We will also be doing student evaluations at the end of class. (4-18-08, 3:45pm) After having tried to locate the term "ionization stage", I am going to assume that the ionization stage refers to the fact that the argon spectra you are studying all involve transitions from argon's first excited state (Ar I). So, all your transitions are from the same "ionization stage". (4-16-08, 3:15pm) The revised scan of the Argon Plasma lab manual is posted here. (4-15-08, 10:00am) |
