(classes will be held for six weekends on Saturdays and Sundays from 9:00am to 5:00pm)

Fall 2010: October 16 - November 21, 2010

Spring 2011: March 19 - May 1, 2011
(No classes will be held on April 23 & 24 for Easter)

Summer 2011: June 4 - July 17, 2011
(No classes will be held on July 2 & 3 for Independence Day)

Required Textbooks*

Federal Civil Rules Booklet: Introduction to Paralegalism, 7th ed., by William Statsky;

Basics of Legal Document Preparation, by Robert Cummins;

Paralegal Procedures and Practices; and Paralegal Career for Dummies, both by Scott and Lisa Hatch.

Westlaw online legal research access is required for the live lecture format.

Fall 2010 Session I: Aug. 23 – Oct. 8
Fall 2010 Session II: Oct. 18 – Dec. 3

The online course is completed in two consecutive seven-week sessions and both sessions must be successfully completed in order to receive a certificate. Students may begin their course study during any online session offered throughout the year. Westlaw online legal research access is required for the second half of the online course format.
