This federally funded program is located on the lower level of the Library. SSS assists eligible students by helping them to remain in school and graduate. To be eligible, students must meet one of the following: be from a low-income background, be a first generation college student (neither parent earned a bachelor’s degree), or have a documented physical and/or learning disability. SSS offers:

  • Peer Mentoring
  • Study Groups/Tutoring
  • Access to Cultural Events
  • Workshops
  • Financial Aid Information
  • Counseling & Referral
  • Midterm Evaluations
  • Newsletters
  • Assistance in Graduation Preparation
  • Return to Learn
  • Student Opportunity Services Activities Club
  • The SSS/TriO program is 100% federally funded at $290,079 annually.
