Adult Learner Orientation

Adult Learner Orientation is designed to assist those who took a break after graduating high school or getting a GED, or attended a college, but did not finish. During orientation, students will meet other adult students and learn more about services available at MSU Billings.
Adult students should schedule an individual advising and registration appointment with the Advising Center at (406) 657-2240 prior to orientation. Transcripts from all previous institutions must be received prior to scheduling an appointment. Those who have not taken college level math and writing classes will need to take the COMPASS placement test. Contact the Advising Center to schedule an individual or remote test.

Transfer Student Orientation

This program assists those who have recently attended another college. At orientation, transfer students will meet other students and learn more about services available at MSU Billings.

Online Learner Orientation
If you are pursuing your degree completely online, we understand you may not be able to come to campus. To register for classes or arrange a COMPASS placement test, please contact the Advising Center at (406) 657-2240 to schedule a phone or online appointment.
