Criteria and Description

Mentors are women who:

  • Believe in the ability and the potential of young women with disabilities to reach their goals.

  • Have any type of a disability.

  • Are available to spend some time with young women each month.

  • Are role models for young women.

  • Are employed or have had work experience, are attending college, volunteer, or are active members of their community.

  • Are willing to share their own experiences as well as listen to and help answer the questions of the young women they mentor.

Currently, the project is seeking mentors in Bozeman, Laurel, Glendive, Wolf Point, and Poplar. If you'd like more information or are interested in becoming a mentor with this project, please contact the coordinator in your community by clicking on the community link above.
