Topic Abstracts:

"Black Hat / White Hat"
How do hackers do what they do? This session will give you the basic knowledge to understand how hackers get into your computer system and how to stop them. 8 steps of intrusion, Steps to prevent intrusion, tools of the trade, and how to tell if you have been hacked and what to do if you have been, will be discussed in this session. The port 135 attack will be demonstrated so you can see exactly what the black hats are doing, and how the white hats can stop them. This is a great learning, demonstration session for new and seasoned security professionals.

"HIPAA at Hyper-Speed"
This presentation will give you methods and tools needed to quickly bring your facility into compliance before the April deadline. Hospitals, clinics and medical offices that think they are in compliance are wondering if they are truly compliant, and most really have missed part of this complex compliance law. Overview of the security matrix, “hot tips” from CMS, references and guidance on how to get FREE help from HIPAA professionals will be given. This is a great session for any IT professional as HIPAA and Gramm-Leach-Bliley Act follow many of the same security requirements. Are you already a security professional? Learn how to tap into this growing revenue stream. Lots of question and answer time, so bring all your dilemmas.
