The curriculum is broad based and designed to meet the demands of business and service organizations. Graduates of this program will have a foundation of human resource management, an overview of various laws, regulations and court decisions that determine the legal framework of EEO, a sound base for lifelong learning, and the opportunity to transfer opportunities in human resource management.

- General Applied Human Resources Associate of Science Plan of Study
- Human Resources Plan of Study (Articulated with College of Business)
- Human resources planning and analysis
- Equal employment opportunity and staffing
- Coordinate organizational development and conduct training
- Develop compensation and benefits packages
- Risk management, safety and security
- Facilitate employee relations
- How human resources professionals and the activities they direct contribute to the strategic business success of organizations.

- Effective oral and written communication skills
- Capable of speaking in front of large groups
- Ability to handle confrontation and enforce workplace policies and procedures
- Use of logic and reasoning for problem solving
- Previous algebra or advanced mathematics course(s)
