SPED 411 - Teaching Students With Emotional Disturbance

 

1.  Identifying Problem Behavior

            Describe why and how you selected the behavior.

            Give a behavioral definition of the problem behavior.

            Describe how you observed and took data on the behavior - what is your baseline data.

            Describe antecedents and consequences for the behavior (before the intervention).

           

2.  Identifying Replacement or Goal Behavior

            Give a behavioral definition of the replacement behavior.

            Explain why you chose this replacement behavior.

 

3.  Identifying Behavior Support Plan

            Describe the intervention program in detail.

            Explain why you chose this program.

            Explain what resources you used to come up with this intervention.

            Plan should include how you will change antecedents and consequences for       desired behaviors.

 

4.  Identifying Monitoring and Evaluation Procedures

            Describe how you will take data during the intervention.

            Talk about how you knew that the program was or wasn’t working.

            If the program wasn’t working, how did you modify the intervention.

 

5.  Summary of the Assignment

            What did you do that worked?

            What did you do that you would do differently next time?

            How did you feel about this whole process?
