Entry-Level Graduate Athletic Training Program (Master of Science)

The graduate program in Athletic Training is designed to prepare students to become entry level athletic training professionals. It prepares students for the Board of Certification (BOC) exam. The curriculum is based upon cognitive and psychomotor learning experiences. In order to become eligible to sit for the BOC examination, students within this degree must complete all of the course work within the professional areas, as well as complete and pass all NATA competencies and proficiencies and complete a clinical experience each semester over the two-year (5 semester) program. The program begins in the third summer session.

Application Information & Forms

The athletic training education program is currently accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Athletic Training Programs (CAATE).  Students are eligible to sit for the BOC examination.
