Assistant Professor in Accounting
Barbara Wheeling received her PhD in Accounting at the University of Alberta, in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada in 1999. She earned an MBA with an Accounting and Finance emphasis from the University of Wyoming, Laramie, Wyoming, in 1989. She also successfully passed the CPA exam in 1990. She has 8 years experience in teaching financial accounting courses and is currently on the faculty of the College of Business at Montana State University-Billings. She has written a textbook on agricultural accounting and has published journal articles on accounting for the agricultural industry. Her research interests have included international accounting. In her spare time she enjoys horse racing and other activities involving horses, hiking, photography, and reading.
