Thank
you for
visiting our website. We believe that administering the
U.S. CPA exam internationally is essential to maintain
the U.S. CPA certification’s status in the world. Two of
the key reasons are:
-
It is becoming
increasingly difficult for citizens in other
countries to obtain a visa to travel to the U.S. to
take the CPA exam.
-
The highly successful conversion to computer-based
testing at Prometric testing centers makes
it increasingly difficult to justify requiring
international CPA candidates to travel to the U.S.
to take the CPA exam when Prometric testing centers
are available throughout the world.
There
are numerous other reasons why it is in everyone's best
interest to administer the U.S. CPA examination in other
countries. We have presented what we believe are the
main reasons why it is essential to internationally
administer the U.S. CPA exam in the following formats:
1. An article in the December 2001 issue of the CPA
Journal.
2. An "Open Letter to the
AICPA and NASBA" dated March 6, 2002.
3. An "Open Letter to the
AICPA and NASBA" dated August 20, 2004.
