Owner
Co-owned and managed retail building center for 12 years. Primary responsibilities included:

    · Market analysis, marketing program design and implementation. The major focus was business growth through expansion of product lines and services. Responsible for tripling annual sales in first five years.

    · Sales to contractors and commercial firms through professional selling and bid process. Sales to individual consumers through traditional retail business model.

    · Employee management including recruitment, training, and evaluation.

    · Development of second location serving customers in southeastern MT. New building center opened at second location.

    · Financial analysis of profit centers and oversight of all accounting functions.

    Consultant

    · Retail – ongoing paid consulting for small retail businesses in areas of strategic planning, marketing, budgeting, financial analysis, and selling activity

    · Business liquidation including planning for a partial or complete liquidation of a retail business

    · Retail analysis of a business with three SBUs, determination of SBU profits and strategy for divesting unprofitable units

    · Strategic planning and target marketing for a trophy awards company

    · Analysis of customer sales and service phone queuing for a medium sized manufacturing facility

    · Complete financial analysis to determine profitable markets for a leading photography business
