It seems so surreal to me that in a few hours I will be landing at the Narita Airport. I remember like it was yesterday, filling out the application and saying in five months I will be in Japan.
Even though Dr. Harris has tried to tell us that there will be customs that we are not used to, I still don’t know what to expect. But, I hope to have an open mind.
I am very excited but also nervous. Some questions that I hope to answer in Japan include: Are Japanese people friendly towards Americans? Are they as short as Americans say? And, Does the food taste good?
