A Japan Journey 2007

The Ueno Zoo was our first stop and it was a funny experience only because I didn’t expect to see so many animals that I find in my back yard or along the roads
in our state parks. We saw animals such as bison, deer, mice, porcupine, and squirrels. I was also surprised at the amount of the kids at the zoo; it was packed but they all seemed to stick together and were well mannered. The vending machines were also something new; they contained an assortment of drinks and ice cream. I enjoyed trying different drinks and snacks, my favorite being grape Fanta.
