A Japan Journey 2007

A ten-hour flight from Los Angeles, plus two flight changes and here I am in Tokyo! I am extremely tired and ready to rest up to begin this journey. Arriving at our first destination, Asia Center, I was surprised to find the rooms extremely small. I questioned whether our subsequent rooms would be this small. As small as they were and as tall as I am I still fit quite comfortably. The tubs and toilets were also different from my own, the bath tub was very relaxing because of its depth and the toilet was interesting as well because I had never experienced one that had gadgets on the side you could press to produce a spray. Apparently the “American” idea bigger is better does not prevail here. Although the space was small, it was efficient.
