We were supposed to leave for Japan on May fourteenth. I live in Roundup MT, about 52 miles from Billings (about 70 kilometers). To get to the airport on time I had to get up at 3 a.m., so I decided it was easer to stay awake the whole night.
I arrived at the airport over an hour early, and found that no one else had arrived (I got there around 5 am…). About an hour later Allen arrived at the airport (I was beginning to think I was in the wrong spot). After a while everyone arrived, and we finally started for Japan.
We flew to Salt Lake (had a rough landing), and then to LAX. We finally arrived at our final boarding zone, and were told we would have to wait until 3 pm to board the plane. We waited several boring hours, and my watch finally said 3 pm, but…then I realized it was still on Mountain Time, so we had to wait another hour. We finally got to board and go to Japan.
