Japan Trip May 10 to June 4, 2005

May 11

We arrived at the Narita airport and my luggage did not. There is not much I can do about it. We are all tired from the long airplane ride so we decided to go to sleep and see Tokyo tomorrow morning.

May 12

We went shopping today since I had no clothes. We went to Harajuku in Tokyo. Some stores were expensive and others weren’t; you just needed to look around at all of them. Everyone is so small over here, it was hard to find pants that were not skintight on me. We got lost on the subway system but eventually found our way home. For the evening we went to Shibuya. It was really busy with lots of lights and moving screen ads. Just looked around a little bit and decided to go back to the hotel; still no luggage.

 

May 13

My luggage was waiting for me when I woke up. We went to the Imperial Palace today. Part of it was closed since it is Friday. We went out for some drinks tonight. All the clubs played American music. It gets pretty crazy. We had lots of fun and everyone is so nice to us.
