Entry 1.

Coming to Japan, I do not know what to expect. I have been on the plane for 6 hours now, and I am trying to picture what is to come on this trip. How will the American mindset be perceived by the Japanese culture? Will the language barrier be difficult to overcome? Will I be too tall for things in Japan such as beds, door ways, shoe sizes, and so on. One of the things I am most looking forward to is the new food palate. I can’t wait to try all of the new foods and customs. One thing that I am nervous about is my allergy problems and getting pressured with alcohol. Being from Montana and growing up in a small town of 2,500 people I cannot wait to experience the big cities of Japan.
