Outlook: Adds depth and experience to the Yellowjacket roster
At
MSU Billings: In his freshman year, Jerett played in 26 games
starting five. He made 48 of 62 free throws for 77.4%. He shot a
career high 4 for 5 from the field against CU-Colorado Springs on November
29th. He was 6 for 6 from the free throw line versus Western Washington on
January 29th. He shot a perfect 100% from the free throw line seven times.
At
Brea-Olinda: Jerett was pursued by a number of Division
I schools, including Oklahoma State, Baylor, Northwestern and
Central Florida. Jerett earned McDonald's All-America honorable
mention honors his senior season at Brea-Olinda. He averaged 16
points, 12 rebounds, and 2 assists per game, leading his team to
a 26-3 record. Jerett was a two year letter winner in basketball.
He was the only athlete at Brea-Olinda to cumulate a GPA over
4.4, his was a 4.77. He graduated as salutatorian of his class
and a member of the National Honor Society.
Personal: Jerett is the son of Craig and Paula Skrifvars, born May 2, 1981.
He has one brother and one sister. Jerett is majoring in
business. His most embarrassing moment was getting hit by a ski lift and
not being able to get back up. The most famous person he has met is
Michael Jordan. His favorite movie is Top Gun.
