LACEY, Wash. – Rebekah Tsatsa and Lisa Moore combined for a pair of shutouts and held Saint Martin’s to just seven hits in a doubleheader road sweep Sunday afternoon, 11-0, 4-0.  With the victories, the Montana State Billings Yellowjackets remain one game back of league leaders Western Oregon and Seattle.

The Yellowjackets (22-19, 11-7 GNAC), totaled 19 hits in the two games and 15 runs, including two home runs and four doubles.  Leslie Davis went 4 for 6 with two doubles, a home run and two RBI, while Stephanie Gosselin went 3 of 7 with a home run and five RBI.

Kelly Parsons drove in four of the runs with two coming on a single in the fourth and two more in the fifth with a double.  Five players all had two hits for the Jackets.

Defense was the name of the game in the nightcap as both teams battled to a 0-0 draw through seven innings.  In the eighth, the Jackets plated four runs courtesy of a RBI single by Terina Stacks and athree-run home run by Gosselin for a the 4-0 victory.

Moore (9-5) was masterful in the game as she went seven innings allowing three hits, two walks and she fanned eight.  Tsatsa pitched the ninth inning and allowed one hit.

The Yellowjackets return home for the remainder of the regular season, beginning a nine-game homestand against Seattle University Thursday at 3 p.m. in a key conference doubleheader.
